Here’s how to take the best care of your jewellery:
- Since amber is an organic material, a certain reaction can occur after contact with skin and clothing, such as a slight color change
- Your amber jewellery is best stored in a dry place, such as in a box or bag. Do not store your jewellery in a humid environment such as a bathroom if you can avoid it
- Avoid wearing your rav jewellery when washing dishes, taking showers or doing sports as the jewellery will last much longer
- Silver can sometimes oxidize after contact with sulfur in the air, which gives it a dark look. You can easily clean it with a dry piece of cloth.
Here’s how to clean your jewellery:
- Amber is easily cleaned in lukewarm water with a cloth without chemical agents. The stone can also be polished with a dry cloth. Chemicals have a drying effect on amber, so try to avoid exposing the stone to perfume and hairspray
- If the silver oxidizes you can clean it with a dry cloth or with silver cleaning solution. Every purchase at RAV by Sweden includes a cleaning cloth that can be used to clean your jewellery with
- If you think your gold jewellery has lost its shine, it can easily be polished with a dry cloth to regin its sparkle
