Join us and search for amber
Notice the distinct smell of seaweed. Inhale the cold and crispy air deep into your lungs. Hear the wind blow and gently pinch your cheeks. See how the seagulls search for food amongst the ocean waves. Hold the light weight amber stone in your hand and feel its rugged surface against your thumb. Taste the cardamom in the homemade cinnamon bun as we stop for a coffee break.
Amber, rav, has been a part of Scandinavian history for thousands of years.
But what is amber?
Why do we search for it on a beach in southern Sweden?
And what can be done with amber material once you find your treasure?
